Kim Arthurs
Kim Arthurs is PVD/Valley-based. A self-taught artist, seasonal PVD gondola ghost tour guide, Head Coffee Roaster at New Harvest Coffee, curator of Resilire at New Harvest / Farm Fresh RI at 10 Sims Ave for Open Valley 2026. Kim installed a gallery wall at New Harvest Coffee & Spirits, showcasing a monthly rotation of local artists. For Open Valley, Kim is curating a group exhibition on a new gallery wall in the Farm Fresh RI hallway, hopefully the first of many! When Kim is not roasting coffee and showcasing artwork, they are making their own artwork in Mooners Makes Studio: their basement and garden. Kim focuses in cyanotype, mixed media, visual storytelling, and performance. Their solo exhibition "Garden as Body" and curated group exhibition "In-Between" were both on view at the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative in 2025. They designed the cover for Motif Magazine's May 2025 issue, and they teach cyanotype workshops seasonally at Bristol Art Museum.
Their work will be on view as part of Resilire, taking place across New Harvest Coffee & Spirits and Farm Fresh RI.
