Once the Textile Finishing Machinery Company, 50 Sims is a 113,000 sq ft historic manufacturing facility that is being thoughtfully transformed into a space for work and play, supporting a diversity of use and scale. Today the building is home to artist studios, a bicycle collective, a national manufacturing skills training program, a brewery and brewpub and much more. 50 Sims is a space to grow, test, explore—and we’re just getting started!

A Revival of The Valley

50 Sims supports the common neighborhood vision outlined in the Woonasquatucket Vision Plan (2018) to grow the existing economic cluster around skilled labor, and to preserve and create accessible spaces for job training, arts, food production and makers.

A campus of interconnected buildings, 50 Sims is composed of hardworking spaces, each with their own unique assets. Our renovation of the spaces is informed by our growing community’s needs, and we draw on a variety of inspiration as we continue to add layers to the existing structure.
